Hints of red fruit
This wine is the result of ‘bleeding’ off liquid from vats of Clos Dubreuil to extract a dark pink juice vinified the same way as a great white wine. Clara is aged in barrels for 10 months before being bottled.
Clara is a chilled wine to be served with fine cuisine. It has red fruit flavors and a floral note. It goes perfectly with spicy dishes and Asian food. Vinified in barrels, it ages well over time
Sorefreshingon the palate
Obtained by siphoning or ‘bleeding’ liquid from vats of Clos Dubreuil, the blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon is vinified and aged in 30% new French oak barrels. The 2021 Clara is a success with the freshness of small red fruits and a very nice smoky nose. We can almost detect aromas of a young Pinot Noir. The characteristics of the vintage give it incredible palate tension that has chalky salinity.
